Terms and Conditions
Legal foundations
Using the Kiwii Games website and visiting our venue
These Terms and Conditions set forth the legal foundations for accessing and using the Kiwii Games section of the Kiwii Games website at https://kiwiigames.com and for visiting our Australian restaurant, Card Lounge, and offline poker spaces. Please read this page carefully, as access to our site, entry to our premises, attendance at our offline poker events, or participation in any in-person poker evenings constitutes agreement to the terms set out below.
By continuing to browse this site or by attending Kiwii Games in person, you acknowledge that our poker experiences are strictly social, face-to-face and held around physical poker tables using playing cards and poker chips. We do not provide or endorse online poker or digital gambling platforms.
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Adults, Australian hospitality and face-to-face poker
Our venue is designed for adults enjoying modern Australian cuisine, cocktails, supper, shared plates and in-person poker in a relaxed, club-like environment. Unless otherwise specified or as required by local regulations, general entry to Kiwii Games may be restricted to individuals aged 18 years and over.
We may request valid, government-issued photo identification to verify age or eligibility for entry, particularly when accessing the Card Lounge, Poker Salon or any hosted Texas Hold’em nights and poker events. If suitable identification is not provided when requested, staff may decline entry to certain areas, including the dedicated card room and poker tables.
By entering the premises, you confirm that you meet all applicable age requirements and that you are attending Kiwii Games for lawful, social and recreational purposes, including offline poker evenings and restaurant experiences as they are offered.
Offline Poker Events
Physical poker tables, real cards and social play
All poker activity at Kiwii Games is strictly offline and face-to-face. Our Card Lounge and Poker Salon are built around physical poker tables with green felt, playing cards, seating and poker chips. Social poker sessions, Texas Hold’em tables, and hosted poker evenings are conducted only in person, with guests gathered around a real table.
Digital or online poker play is not provided, supported or permitted on our premises. This includes, but is not limited to, online poker websites, apps or remote gambling platforms accessed via personal devices while participating in our events or while seated at our poker tables.
The poker experiences we curate are social and hospitality-led, emphasising conversation, table etiquette, shared dishes and Australian hospitality, rather than remote or screen-based play. By joining a poker night at Kiwii Games you agree to participate in an in-person, physical and offline environment.
Reservation & Table Policy
Restaurant tables, Card Lounge access and hosted evenings
Reservations are strongly recommended for both dinner and poker evenings, especially during peak times or when booking the Poker Salon or private dining room. Bookings help us prepare the right number of poker tables, shared plates and seating for your group.
We may hold reservations for a limited grace period from the stated arrival time. Significant late arrival or failure to arrive may result in your restaurant or Card Lounge booking being shortened, adjusted or forfeited so that we can accommodate other guests.
Certain experiences, such as private offline poker events, dedicated Texas Hold’em tables, or exclusive use of our card room, may require advance notice, a minimum group size or a deposit as part of the booking process. Any such conditions will be communicated at the time of reservation.
If you need to modify or cancel a booking, please contact us as early as possible using the details on our Contact Us page. Applicable venue policies, including any cancellation or rescheduling rules, may vary according to the size or nature of your event.
Conduct & Etiquette
Respectful behaviour, table conversation and fair play
All guests at Kiwii Games are expected to observe respectful behaviour at all times, with particular care during poker events and within the Card Lounge and Poker Salon. This includes appropriate language, considerate table conversation, and a collaborative approach to shared spaces and seating.
Guests agree to follow the spirit of fair play and basic poker table etiquette, such as taking turns, handling cards and poker chips with care, respecting the dealer or host, and listening to staff instructions regarding table format or Texas Hold’em guidelines.
Abusive, disruptive, discriminatory or intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated. Our team reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to intervene, pause play, re-seat guests, or refuse service and request any individual or group to leave the premises where conduct falls short of our standards or is inconsistent with a safe and welcoming offline poker and dining environment.
Intellectual Property
Photography, design and written content
All intellectual property on this website relating to Kiwii Games — including but not limited to text, imagery, photography of our interiors and poker tables, design elements, logos, editorial articles, diagrams of poker tables, card-room labels and layouts — is owned by Kiwii Games or used under appropriate licence.
No content from this site may be copied, reproduced, adapted, stored, distributed, published or used to create derivative works without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law for personal, non-commercial reference. Any unauthorised use of our visual identity, editorial content or imagery is strictly prohibited.
Use of the Kiwii Games name in connection with online poker, online casino services or digital gambling platforms is not authorised and must not occur without explicit written approval.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kiwii Games is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any personal belongings brought onto the premises, including items left unattended at dining tables, bar seating, poker tables or lounge areas.
Guests are expected to use our facilities, including stairways, seating, poker tables, chairs, glassware and tableware, in a careful and appropriate manner. To the extent permitted by law, Kiwii Games is not liable for injuries, incidents or damage arising from misuse of facilities, disregard of staff directions, failure to observe basic card room etiquette, or behaviour inconsistent with a safe in-person poker or dining environment.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law or other applicable legislation.
